About 25 years ago I started making jewelry as a business. I sold the things I made at craft fairs and gave them as gifts to my family and friends. It is weird that when i got into scrapbooking I seemed to abandon all previous crafts. Over the years, they have crept into my scrapbooking and now are making a comeback on their own. Since Xaver also has gotten into making jewelry, I have been playing around and making more jewelry pieces with some of my scrapping supplies. Who said we couldn't mix it up?
"Bronze Fall" Necklace by Jennifer Priest
This necklace is surprisingly easy to create but packs alot of impact, great for dressing up a fall sweater or dress! Attach a flattened bottlecap to an eye pin with several beads on it. Then attach a Connie Crystal suncatcher to the bottom of the bottlecap. Add beads to the ends of the crystals on the suncatcher. Add to a piece of velvet ribbon to create a necklace. Create an epoxy accent for the center of the bottlecap with the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio and then glue to the bottle cap with Tombow Power Bond Adhesive.
