Buttons, brads, rivets, gems, rhinestones, bling, or eyelets...it's all the same to me. Fun little items you can use to add a little pop, secure some ribbon, or create fun accents. If you use alot of buttons already, turn your attention to those eyelets you've hidden for the last few years. If you're really into brads, try using brads and buttons together, cluster these embellies for a fun effect. Use those shaped buttons you've been hoarding -- no one will ever see them socked away in your scraproom. Give them a place to shine on your scrapbook page or project!
1. Create layouts, cards or projects using BUTTONS & BRADS.
2. Upload your layouts, cards or projects that you created featuring BUTTONS & BRADS to an online gallery or your blog (please link back to my blog to this challenge if you like).
3. Post a link to your layouts, cards or projects on this blog post using Mr Linky (it will show up at the bottom of this blog post) by Saturday March 20, 2010 by Midnight PST.
If you don't get your layout or project done in time, you can still do it. The goal is to get something done using the supplies you already have.
Each time you post a comment with a link to your project you will be entered to win so make sure you post each project or layout separately. The first prize is a $100 gift cert to my etsy shop Hydrangea Hippo, with more prizes to come! Here's a little more inspiration for you on the topic of BUTTONS & BRADS:
Brads are the only real embellie on this page!
A few black brads (Bazzill) in the middle of a button (Creative Imaginations) makes a Mickey Head, as shown in this mini book:
Eyelets, rivets, epoxy stickers, and star stickers create a sparkle effect:
I hope you'll join me for this fun adventure. Here's to getting lots of layouts done, using our stash, and making room for new goodies!!
